Hi, Prayer Partners!
I’ve been reminded recently how fast time goes and how slow each day can seem. As I stay active in the various ministries here at Bethel, each day is long. However, when I look back, I can’t believe I’ve been here 7 months already. I am greatly enjoying ministry here!
Quite a bit of progress has been made on the new building extension. We are praying it will soon be finished.
I am so thankful God provided a flat (apartment) for me so close to the church. Since I don’t have a car, I do a lot of walking. I average between 1-9 miles each day. Lol, since arriving I have worn out 3 pairs of boots and am now working on my 4th pair. Since public transportation and walking are so common here, I enjoy seeing many people as I walk the streets around Havant. Every walk, I take either my shopping bag(s), trolley, or both. Although I greatly enjoy walking for the sake of walking, I also have things I have to pick up for the different ministries. Kids’ outreaches and Bible clubs as well as Bible studies keep me busy. Helping with a ministry is one thing, but when you are responsible for supplies, snacks, crafts, setting up, taking down, and everything those involve, life can stay busy. I am so thankful to be able to serve alongside Bethel!
Storm Eunice brought strong winds across Great Britain. Falling trees, damaged roofs, loss of electrical power, and some fatalities occurred yesterday, February 18, 2022. The church building escaped without harm; however, Glen &Tammy (BMM missionaries) had some roof damage. We are so thankful God kept us all safe.
I would like to now take some time to say thank you so much to my financial partners and prayer supporters. As January arrived, I received information that some of my supporting churches were increasing my support level. Thank you so much for your generosity! I am so blessed to have so many who have partnered with me through prayer and financial gifts. Your prayers and gifts are what enables me to stay here. Thank you! If you are interested in joining my financial support team, please visit www.bmm.org/give. Thank you for your continued prayer support! May God bless and guide each of you. Please follow progress updates on my blog https://maryenglandbound.com God bless. ~ Mary Coburn
